Screen Shot 2017-06-04 at 11.43.41 AM

Hello,

Well we made it!! We had a great year and learned and laughed lots!  I hope you all have an amazing summer!  Thank you to all of you who showered me with gifts this past week!! We sure are very spoiled and appreciate them all! Thank you!!

Thank you for allowing me to be your kiddo’s teacher this past year, they are absolutely wonderful kiddos and I was very lucky to be their teacher!! They have all grown and learned so much this year and I couldn’t be more proud(and sad) to send them off to 3rd grade.  I, thankfully will get to see most of them daily as their new classrooms share my same hallway!! :)

Just a reminder Raz Kids, Moby Max and Zearn are available this summer for your kiddo’s convenience!! They have done really well and I would love them to still practice their math, language arts, and reading skills throughout the summer, just to keep them sharp!! :)  My blog is also available all summer as well, there are fun, interactive games/websites that they browse as well, if they need something to do!

Have the best and safest summer!!

Mrs. Barnes :)

Hello!!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I wanted to let you all know that I will not be in school Monday-Wednesday as we have to travel home to Valier.  My Grandma Margaret Christiaens passed away yesterday morning and we are going home for the funeral.  Mrs. Stott will be taking over the class and is going to have all the information for the countdown as well. She will be sending out emails for reminders.  The only day that I know something will need to come from home is on Wednesday, it is Game Day and the kiddos are invited to bring their board and card games from home. This will be much like the day we had a few weeks ago where there will be no devices or Pokemon allowed. Kiddos will not be allowed to call home for the games after they have come to school and please don’t rush around bringing the games to them after the fact.  There will be plenty of games they can play as I have a variety for them to play as well. Thank you for your understanding with this.  If you have any questions in my absence, Mrs. Stott will be checking my school email and she will respond to you.

Donations– We are still in need of some more boxes of tissues, sanitizing wipes, dry erase markers and loose leaf notebook paper (wide ruled).  If you are able to help us out in any way with some of these items, we are so grateful! Thank you!!

-Regular Friday – out at 3:00
